1.About us
This website is run by Mac Mania Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12775169. Our registered office is 65 Broadway, London, England, E15 4BQ. Our VAT number is GB363071612.
You can contact us by email at info@mac-mania.co.uk, or by phone or WhatsApp on +44 7782 544675.
2.Our products
- We sell compatible replacement parts for Apple MacBook computers. Unless a listing clearly says otherwise, parts are not made or supplied by Apple.
- Apple, Mac and MacBook are trademarks of Apple Inc. Mac Mania is an independent supplier and is not affiliated with Apple Inc.
- Product photos are for illustration. Colours can look slightly different on screen, and small details such as labels may vary between batches.
- It’s your responsibility to choose the right part. Check the model number (starting with “A”) on the underside of your Mac, and contact us before ordering if you’re unsure.
3.Placing an order
- When you place an order, we’ll email you to confirm we’ve received it. This is not yet acceptance of your order.
- Our contract with you starts when we dispatch your order and email you to confirm it.
- We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, a price is clearly wrong, or we suspect fraud. If we do, we’ll tell you and refund any payment in full.
4.Prices and payment
- All prices are in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT at the current rate.
- Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. See our Delivery Information.
- If we find a pricing error after you order, we’ll ask whether you want to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
- Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
- If you pay with Klarna, Klarna’s own terms also apply to that payment.
5.Delivery
- We deliver to UK addresses. Orders placed before 3pm on a working day are normally dispatched the same day.
- Delivery times are estimates. We’re not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or events outside our control, but we’ll help chase any late parcel.
- Goods are your responsibility once delivered to the address you gave us.
- If your order arrives damaged, or an item is missing or wrong, please tell us within 48 hours so we can sort it quickly. This doesn’t affect your legal rights.
6.Your right to cancel
As a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. We extend this to 30 days from delivery.
- To cancel, tell us by email at info@mac-mania.co.uk or by WhatsApp with your order number. You can also use the model cancellation form below.
- Return the goods within 14 days of telling us you’re cancelling. We’ll give you the return address when you contact us.
- You pay the cost of returning goods you no longer want.
- We’ll refund the price of the goods, and the original standard delivery charge if you return the whole order, within 14 days of receiving them back (or of you showing proof of return, if earlier).
- You may handle and test the goods as you would in a shop. If they’ve been used, fitted or damaged beyond that, we may reduce your refund to reflect their lower value.
Model cancellation form. To Mac Mania Ltd, info@mac-mania.co.uk: I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract of sale of the following goods: [item]. Ordered on [date] / received on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Date: [date].
7.Faulty goods and warranty
Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If they aren’t, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
| When the fault appears | Your right |
|---|---|
| Within 30 days of delivery | Reject the goods for a full refund |
| Within 6 months | Repair or replacement, or a refund if that isn’t possible or doesn’t work |
| After 6 months | Repair, replacement or refund, but you may need to show the fault was there on delivery |
On top of these rights, every part has our 12-month warranty. See Returns & Warranty for what it covers. The warranty doesn’t cover accidental, liquid or fitting damage, static, wrong screws or tools, or parts repaired or modified by someone else. This doesn’t affect your legal rights.
8.Fitting parts
Fitting computer parts needs care and the right tools. If you or someone else fits a part, follow suitable repair guidance and test the part before fully fitting it. We’re not responsible for damage to your Mac or data caused by fitting, unless it results from a fault in the part we supplied. Back up your data before any repair. If you’d rather we fit the part, ask about our fitting service.
9.Our liability
- If we break these terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that.
- We’re not responsible for business losses (such as lost profit or income) or for loss of data.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t legally be limited.
10.Business customers
If you buy as a business, such as a repair shop, the consumer rights in sections 6 and 7 don’t apply in the same way. We’ll still honour our 30-day returns and 12-month warranty as set out on our Returns & Warranty page. Our total liability to a business customer for any order is limited to the price paid for that order. Discounts are available on 10 or more of the same item.
11.Your personal information
We use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
12.Complaints
If you’re unhappy, contact us at info@mac-mania.co.uk and we’ll do our best to put things right.
13.Other important terms
- We may update these terms. The terms that apply to your order are those on the website when you placed it.
- If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
